Ford Kuga mk 1 ford kuga 2011 plate... ecu problem total loss of power

Yesterday while driving i lost all power and battery light and oil light came on on dash, panicked then turned engine off then back on again lights on dash go off and car starts again. took back to garage i bought it from and they said ecu unit had water on it, (ecu fastened to inner wing) they dried it out and following day i got the car back (no cover on ecu they said)
Please any advice is much appreciated only had car 3 weeks....

Some ECU units can be exposed to rain / water due to their location . It would be advisable to confirm the Ecu cover is now fitted and precautions, steps have been taken to avoid this occurring again . Also no faults in ECU due to water ingress
