Clutch sticking and jolting up just before realising clutch fully. Changes gears all ok and everything else runs ok

I've changed, the pump,thermostat, no bit,s of muck in the water, or rust, has new head gasket, 4 weeks before I got the car, could it be an air lock, or the head blocked,, there is a bubbling sound coming from the head..r
