Ford KA engine revs and then dies, revs then dies, constantly with foot to the floor.

I have no idea why but when i start the engine the engine runs perfectly until i put my foot on the accelerator and the the engine revs then loses power and then revsand then loses power in perfect rythem even though my foot stays still on the pedal. Any Ideas??

sounds like a faulty throttle position sensor,get a diagnostic done to check for fault codes.does the engine idle or just cut out straight away?
