Ford KA engine idling is eratic

Car: Ford KA
Variant: 1.2 Zetec
Model Year: 2010
Categories: Running Rough, Starting & Power Loss
Hi, I purchased this vehicle on 010310 and since day one the engine idles erratically as though it is going to cut out. It has stalled on numerous occasions, normally at roundabouts or traffic lights. Ford garage says nothing is shown on diagnostics, so no fault? Please help!

poss carbon build up on throttle flap or on idle air control valve, try cleaning them then recheck idle

On a car as new as this , do not do any repairs yourself or you will invalidate your warranty .If possible get someone from garage to go out on road test with you and show them what's happening .If it's an intermiitent fault , can be very hard to diagnose .

the best time to probably expierence the problem would be when the car is cold so if you can leave the car at the garage and they can check the car out when it is cold and be able to spot the fault and have a hire car from them
