Ford KA steering whel does all way round

Car: Ford KA
Variant: manual
Model Year: 1999
Categories: Steering, Suspension, Brakes, Wheels & Tyres
we put power steering fluid in and car now moves, although there is definatley a hose broken, fluid on drive. But the steering wheel goes all way round, before it never moved and car wouldn't drive, am a bit worried about driving it to local garage which is only 5 minutes away, they gave me the steering fluid to put in.
This is looking pretty major, steering wheel did not make any noise, like cracking when I carefully turned it left and right with engine running while friend put fluid in.

Never heard of lack of PAS fluid stopping a car from moving before .Probably steering rack leaking fluid going by what you say and will need repairing or replacement .Another common fault on the steering on that car is the steering column intermediate shaft coupling ..
