Ford Galaxy electric windows

Car: Ford Galaxy
Variant: 1.8 zetec
Model Year: 2009
Categories: Leaks & Noises
Went out to the car one evening and all the windows had mysteriously opened. All closed ok apart from L/H rear which was a bit tricky getting it to close as if the switch was dicky but might be trouble with door wiring. My main preoccupation was getting them closed as it was dark and raining so I didn't do a lot of investigation. Anybody any other ideas?

Seen that occur on various makes of car due to low battery .Recharging battery cured in some cases but others required replacement batttery .

I have done some reading up and found out about global open/close. I was unaware of this facility of opening all of the windows by holding the remote unlock button for a few seconds. I'm hoping that there isn't a fault but perhaps I accidentally pressed the button on the remote as I walked away.
