Ford Galaxy all side lights not working

Car: Ford Galaxy
Variant: 2.3l
Model Year: 2002
Categories: Steering, Suspension, Brakes, Wheels & Tyres
Hi . I have a problem with all 4 cornors with my side lights.first of all I put the wrong bulbs in when a brake light failed.i changed both.i tryed the the brakes and they worked fine but then I notice my side lights wasnt working front and back ( main beam works on the front ).so I checked the cluster .when I hit the brakes the side lights would come on with the brake lights.so I realised the bulbs wasnt double element so I changed them again brakes work fine but still no side lights.im thinking its the light switch when you turn it once nothing happens 2 turns main beam works at the front.all fog lights work and indicators
