Ford Galaxy near side side lights (front and rear) not working.

Car: Ford Galaxy
Variant: 1.8 tdi
Model Year: 2002
Categories: Running Rough, Starting & Power Loss
near side side lights (front and rear )not working. checked fuse, it is ok. Checked for live supply at rear light cluster ( side light switched on) there is no power. Is there any other simple tests. Is it safe to connect the right to the left side lights through a fuse. that is my last option because I do not understand how to trace this feed wire to the side light.
Thank you

That would be the easiest way for you yes. And that is the old trick. Up to you on condition of car. The reason for two seperat fuses in modern cars if the lightfuse failed you had a blackout. Not only one side fails so you still have lights. Your choice but a sparkie should be able to find that fault quite easy.
Have you tried googling this issue to see if there is any common faults with a dodgy fuse circuit board? I know the mk5 escorts did have a bad earth on the back of the fuse board , giving all sorts of funnyfaults
Or at least mine did ! ☺
