Car: Ford Galaxy
Model Year: 2000
Categories: Gearbox & Clutch
We have a Y reg ford galaxy, purchased as used. the problem we have is that at between 40 and 50 mph the care starts to vibrate quite violently and then just stop, The dealer we got it from does not know what is causing this and neither does any other mechanic we have taken it to....if any one can help I would appreciate it

more detail....
it is noticeable more on the left hand front wheel area and seems to stop then start at random intervals. Drive shaft has been check, gear box has been checked and the car seems to be sound in all of its official capacity.....

Water in tyre maybe, easiest thing would be swapping wheels with another, just water in a tyre does not show up on wheel balancer.only when driven at speed,it,s a fault I have had before.

Have you had the wheels balanced? you may have a warped tyre? I would try the above step of switching wheels
