Can any one tell me how to access the front sidelight so that I can change the bulb

Does it not show you in owner handbook ?

Hi
With thanks to ' Whittingehames ' reply. I can understand your reply,however the handbook shows a different design sidelight/fog light arrangement. I have seen online that on some models you remove a panel in the wheel arch or remove a screw from underneath the light unit then slide out the light unit. Neither of these indications are applicable to my Mk3 Galaxy

go back to your dealer they might just change it for you as a good will gesture got to be worth a try on such a new car
