Ford Galaxy filled tank with unleaded

Variant: 1.8 tdi ghia
Model Year: 2002
how easy is it to drain tank---car had been driven for a very short distance, out of petrol station -- a distance much less than 500 yards.could this have caused any damage. and what would need replacing if any. thank you

You'll have to drain the unleaded petrol out of the tank, There shouldn't be any damage caused to the engine.

try syphoning of with a pipe if you cant you may need to remove a fuel pipe from tank drain of as much as possible refill with diesel i would also change the fuel fillter it may smoke for a bit but there should not be any damadge
