How do I open the bonnet of a Ford Galaxy when the release cable is broken?

Already Tried:
Broken and removed grille to try to access bonnet catch
The bonnet catch on these is pretty awkward to get at as its shrouded - for security which doesn't make life easy when you have a genuine need to get in it...
If you really cannot get at through the grill - then the next way is up from underneath... you can either have it at a garage on a ramp which makes life easier - or get the front raised on ramps or even on a kerb....
Then you need to work up from the underneath - which granted is not easy because of the radiator etc - but you are aiming to get a grip of the whole cable if you can- the outer sheath etc and give the whole cable a pull in the normal direction of its pull to unlatch the lock ...
If the cable is broken at the latch ... you need to use a ling tool to latch on to the catch where the cable attaches - and lever it over to unlock / latch it -
Once you release the main latch , it will open as normal on the secondary catch...
As I say, its very awkward , time consuming and takes patience but can be done that way ....
