Ford Fusion rear brakes

failed mot on imbalance nsr by a differance of 100 kg had the drums off no problems evident all clean and adjusted correctly including the hand brake . have changed the hose and the cylinder no differance and bled through ?

with the drum off firstly check how much wear is evident on the drum, ie wear lip, if its alot grind it off or renew your drums, this will make manual adjustment harder if left on.
Make sure the handbrake lever is fully home against its stop, if not slacken cable untill it is, check both sides. adjustment cannot be properly acheived if lever is forward of stop.
Make sure the shoes have been fitted the right way round if its been previously striped, also double check you have got all the air out of the brake cylinder by bleeding and while doing this check to see that you are getting good flow while brake is being depressed.

all correctly fitted and not that old either, presure bled complete system 3 times shoes dont look old ang drums well below spec
