Ford Focus ventilation fan goes fast

Hi, when i accelerate the ventilation fan goes faster as if i have turned the control to maximum, then it goes back to normal speed after a few seconds,any ideas how to sort it please

Could be heater motor ballast resistor on its way out . If not that , could also check alternator not overcharging .
