Leaks & Noises
I have a ford focus 1.8 zetec, for the past few weeks there has been a humming noise coming from the offside, I changed the wheel bearings on the rear wheel but this has not cured the problem the noise seems to be coming from the front wheel it seems this gets worse the faster you go, today I also started getting vibration through the floor pan, I am assuming it's the wheel bearings?any advice would be very much appreciated.

Certainly sounds like front bearing knackered and if you are getting vibrations through car , better to get it chacked ASAP .

hi the swaddie i think i might know whats wrong, im having the same problem and i will have to get both problems sorted to actually find which it is. anyways the problem is i think either the enguine mounts or the rubber bushes on top of the strutts. depends on the age of the car as well. but let me know what you think. i dont know if youve got it sorted but ive just found this website myself. phez
