hi all
could someone please give me some information, i have a ford focus 1.6 xl on a 02 plate..i have started to get a leak underneth the car (power steering fluid ). i have took it into a garage thinking it would be the seals? he now tells me it needs a new rack? apparently theres a nut at the bottom with a disc behind that, and its leaking from there very slowly but enough that i need to top up the fluid every 4-5 days...could someone give me some advice is he right.

Alright Bazza, Are you sure its power steering fluid? Unless the rack is making loads of noise and is difficult to steer i cant see why you would need a new one.
