Car: Ford Focus

temp gague shooting up into red, then creeping down again. no warning lights up on dash. and also there is a bubbling noise every time the steering wheel is turned. took the car back to the garage i bought it from, they reckon the two problems could be related. they put new thermostat on but there was no change? got a call from their mechanic saturday, he reckons there could be a blockage, so they have orderd a new part for the radiator?
just wanted someone elses opinion on this matter if poss?

Could be rad electric fan thermal switch / sensor they ordered ? Probably best to give them a chance to fix car and see how it is when returned . Then if still having probs . get back to forum .

its nearly been 2 weeks and still dont have the car, they have changed the rad, water pump, thermostat, head gasket, cambelt, a non return valve. The temp gague is still shooting into red when car is given a good run. Any suggestions? maybe there is a blockage as they say water is not circulating to front of engine
