on some road surfaces it's very noisy, smooth tarmac -silent. tyres are Continental sport contact2 205/55 r16 91v done 12000 miles

Read a few comments / reviews mentioning noise but also good points in other aspects .Hard to get a perfect tyre to suit all conditions and usage . Different tyres can completely change car re. holding in wet / dry , comfort etc .
