Ford Focus light knocking on passengers side, going along uneven road 15mph

Car: Ford Focus
Variant: Estate
Model Year: 2005
Categories: Steering, Suspension, Brakes, Wheels & Tyres
When driving along an uneven road at slow speeds 15mph, I get a light knocking noise from the passenger side wheel area, garage changed anti roll bar bushes, top mounts and am going to try the drop links next despite the garage saying the links and everything else is tight, (although I can move the links side to side very easily by hand)the noise has a kind of hollow tone or knock. checked in wheel arch/engine area for any loose plastic knocking around. The noise can be heard going over speed bumps slowly as well, but most anoying is its rattly/knocking effect when driving on slightly uneven road surfaces...nothing on a level road. When the car comes back fron the garage its fine for a day then it comes back, when I take it back about the noise "Sods Law" doesnt make enough sound to convince the garage of the problem, they did hear it before they changed the Anti roll bar bushes though! It is very anoying but thanks for any Help.

Anti roll bar link arms seems like a good shout ,easy to replace and not expensive . if not , disc pad rattle ?

Changed the Drop link but still no change in the noise, I was told that there was a recall on the car of the age thatI have, with a similar knocking noise where the top mounts were changed, although I changed the top mounts recently 4 weeks ago due to creeky steering which is more or less gone. and there is no outstanding recalls left on my car. the car has only 42000 miles, Its getting expensive now and trying to find someone who can give some time to look at the problem is prooving difficult. Again the discription is the same as my previous post, but only can be heard knocking at or below 15mph on uneven ground, then normal road noises take over and covers up the knocking at normal driving speeds. I Just feels its going to be a long drawn out process unless there any more suggestions, pads are fine as the noise continues if the brakes are applied lightly.

Cheers

Could it be the Engine mount (Passenger side) as seen in various forums with similar symptoms or am I clutching at straws for this problem....thanks

Went to a ford dealer today....who took it for a run and on the ramps when returned. Engine mount ok, suggested inner steering arm end possible culprit, as other cars they have had in for a recall were done for a similar noise/creek or knock problem replacing that part. Or it could be a upper leg problem e.g. Shock absorber knocking I think they ment. But nothing decisive to the problem part. So getting nowhere fast. Any Ideas on how to test these possilble culprits before changing them when I didnt have to.
Many Thanks
