Ford Focus pulling back and juddering (also in idle)

Car: Ford Focus
Variant: 2.0 Ghia Estate V reg
Model Year: 1999
Categories: Running Rough, Starting & Power Loss
Hi its juddering (slightly) and pulling back when driving and also in idle. Its not shaking as in the wheels are out of line more of an engine problem? Changed spark plugs and no go, and just ordered some bosh leads any ideas would be much appreciated

you are on the right lines with plugs & leads. common fault is rainwater getting through washer jets holes in bonnet due to no rubber seals, this drips onto leads & plugs. so remove jets seal with silicone & renew plugs & leads all will be fine. if not fit a coil pack. happy motoring
