Ford Focus head gasket or cracked head????? help please! : )

Car: Ford Focus
Variant: 1.6i zetec manual petrol
Model Year: 2006
Categories: Leaks & Noises
I have a 2006 Ford Focus Zetec 1.6i, I only purchased this car in june and already i have a major problem with it! it was only 3 years old this month (july) and had its first MOT 2 weeks ago and everything was fine! Until this morning when my partner was cleaning the car and noticed oil leaking from underneath. He opened the bonnet and there was oil in the coolant/water. I just dont understand as there has been no oil or engine lights appearing on the trip computer or dash, absolutely nothing!! I have spoken to FORD and they have told me that the warranty ran out 12 days ago!!! cant believe my BAD luck! I am totally gutted nd dont know what to do!!!??? Can someone please advise me?? I have been told by 3 different people its the head gasket or the head. How much are these things to fix?? Please someone help, any advice will be greatly appreciated. Thanks. x Claire. x : D

first has the head gasget been diagnosed correctly ie using block test fluid(fluid in tool if changes color oil in water)
dont go by guess as antifreese can look oily if not changed
if so head will have to come off then sent to engineer for crack testing and machined if cracked £80 ish
gasget set with bolts £100 ish
labour £300 to £500 recc new timing belt while off £25 ish
the most important thing find a good mechanic
also ring ford customer services(not dealer)they may drop part prices as onlt just out of warantee
also what caused gasget to go fix this if it was overheating it could happen again !!fan/thermostat/rad etc
