Is it only doing this when reversing , does it drive normally with no problems or hesitation in D (Drive ) ?

Hi thanks for responding .
If I go from drive to reverse there is approx 6 second delay then it jolts/lurches backwards.

PS: it drives normally in ‘drive’ unless going from reverse to D.

Your car should still be under warranty , 3 yrs or 60,000 miles . I would take it in for checking under warranty ( unless you don't meet the warranty specs ) there may even be a software update for this problem .
