Ford Focus power steering pump leaking

Car: Ford Focus
Variant: 1600 LX Manual
Model Year: 2005
Categories: Leaks & Noises
The power steering pump is leaking, and I want to replace it, but can't seem to see a belt tensioner on either the air-con pump or the fan belt, and it looks as though the alternator has to be removed in order to get at the PAS pump, can you please advise

hi mate this is a common prob, firstly the belt is a strechy belt which you have to cut of and buy new 1 with a tool to refit it. next prob the pumps leak due to imput pipe unions to the pumps fail, basically you want to replace the pipe and pump!! or try the pipe 1st, if your lucky u will be able to remove the pipe from the pump some are integral to the pump. hard to explain call me if ya stuck between 9 -5 07902004967
