Ford Focus warning lights light up

Car: Ford Focus
Variant: 2.O Liter
Model Year: 2002
Categories: Electrics, ECU, Warnings & Lights
Hello,

Warning lights sometimes flash 5 to 10 times, and stop.
To be noticed that they don't do the tic-tic noise heard when I push the warning button.

The ancient owner had installed a second-mount system to turn on the warning lights in case of a sudden braking, It could be the roigin of the problem but I don't know what are the pieces he could have installed...

Are we talking hazard warning lights here? If so probably better getting a tech to look at it unless it’s had tow bar wiring fitted causing an issue.

If it was the immobiliser warning light it has registered a fault. It gives you a code with a series of flashes followed by a pause .Sometimes can be caused by low battery in key fob .

It's hazard warning lights, and yes It's had a tow bar for a caravan, but that was 9 years ago.

By the way I just changed the battery in the key, never had done that since that time.
