Should have a stored fault code when scanned . Fuel filter been changed ?
I had a problem years back car with the heater blowing cold , fan coming on too much . Had a engineer up from the factory to help in resolving it Took a while to solve before it was found . It was the head gasket that had a slight leak that over a short time would airlock cooling system . Might be related to your fault or you could have more than one fault .
