hi,my sons focus brake lights stay on but when lift brake pedal
lights go off
I can see there are 2 switches black one and a blue and white
which one do we change

Could be neutral safety switch / clutch pedal position / starter safety switch .Some cars have stop/ start switches and cruise control switches at pedals .

clutch pedal position on a brake pedal?

The other switch is on the pedal carrier at clutch pedal as far as I know .
