Ford Focus light steering

Car: Ford Focus
Variant: 1.6 tdci
Model Year: 2010
Categories: Steering, Suspension, Brakes, Wheels & Tyres
Any ideas on what I can check to find the cause of why the steering on my car feels light. I don't pretend to be a mechanic but I've already checked the tyres, all are good, correct pressure, not old and are premiums. Recently replaced the front 2 but didn't make a difference. Just feels light when turning especially going above 50. So many suggestions on the Internet but this site has some good helpful people. Been feeling light for a little while now not hit anything, car is standard zetec s tdci. Tracks straight doesn't pull no knocking that I'm aware of. Any ideas and how to check?

Really best to get it scanned with Ford diagnostic as I know from personal experience there are problems associated with that particular cars steering which can be hard to diagnose for certain and expensive .Sounds like load sensing fault , may be a software update applicable but so many other possible causes , rack , pump , module etc. ?

Sounds like this is worse case scenario. Was thinking suspension checks etc before I get alignment checked. Just need ideas what to check or look for.

Impossible to teach you on the forum what to look for and how to check .If in doubt , get a full geometry check .
