hi,we have a focus and need to replace front discs
which discs are best?
1.6 tdci early 2010

Any OE specification discs .Unless there are any reasons for uprating the brakes for abnormal usage , any discs from a good motor factor will be fine .Or from Ford dealership , though usually dearer .

All I can suggest is a known named brand like Brembo.
And but from a motor factor but don't rule out the main dealers
They can sometimes be very competitive and have better warranty back up.
