Ford Focus engine hesitates when cruising
Variant: 1.8 TCDi
Model Year: 2009
When cruising on motorways, engine will suddenly hesitate then pick up again quickly. It has done this since purchase in 2009. Recently seems to be happening more frequently.

Depending on mileage and if due , has fuel filter been changed ?
