Ford Focus clutch smell under bonnet only

I have recently had weird smell coming from the passenger side if the car I Intailly thought it was the brakes making this smell as they were very low so I had them changed there smell is still there so I went to the garage and he said it smells like the clutch although the clutch isn't slipping at all changing gear feels normal and rpm is the same as Normal the car has done 48k any advice

THIS SNELL COULD BE FROM SMALL AMOUNT OF OIL OR FLUID ON CLUTCH PLATES. IT WILL ONLY G.ET WORSE AND BEGIN TO SLIP WHEN IT DOES AND CHANGING THE CLUTCH LOOK FOR SEAL LEAKS IN GEAR BOX AND CLUTCH SLAVE CYLINDER
