Ford Focus engine missfire

the car starts 1st time&idles fine,but when driving,it occasionaly loses power, judders violently,then if u put more revs on or drop down a gear its fine againcan only explain as my aunt said.its though it has kangaroo juice in it.only had car 2wks,1st time on motorway(40miles)went like a dream.can anybody help please.many thanks.

Might be worth getting it code read first to see if any fault codes show up.
If not, try replacing fuel filter (relatively cheap and easy)

could be the coil pack very common fault on them

Coil pack is most likely around £30 from any motor factor- This is at the right hand side of the engine on zetecs and can be removed and refitted via torx screws x4. Check out state of spark plugs and leads too for piece of mind. Otherwise more than likely fault with fuelling side of things. Good luck :)
