Ford Focus warning light, what does it mean?

An orange warning light has come on, left of temp guage looks like a mini submarine! What does it mean?

Best thing to do would be to get the car scanned for any faults and take it from there.

To make things worse the clutch is slipping so it over revs
not sure if this confuses the engine management system or if they are just to completely seperate faults?
