Ford Focus rpm indicator gauge

Car: Ford Focus
Variant: 1.8 tdci
Model Year: 2005
Categories: Steering, Suspension, Brakes, Wheels & Tyres
hi,
I have a problem that nobody seems to have seen before. Whenever I turn on the turn light, move my steering wheel left-right, release the clutch pedal, etc, my rpm arrow moves up or down for 1-2 mm. This happens when my car is not moving. I've checked charging and they said it was O.K. Also, I have noticed that when I change gears and release the clutch pedal sometimes it goes lower for 2-3 mm then usual and then returns where it should be. This usually happens when the engine is cold. Have you got any idea what I should check to fix the problem? Thank you.

if you are not moving the revs will drop slightly due to the power steering having to work harder and putting a load on the engine
