my cigarette lighter is not working so i cant charge my sat nav or phone, i need to locate the fuse box but cannot seem to find it

i know if you buy the fuse in a place like halfords they will fit it for you for like a fiver or something... or if you have your drivers hand book that will show you where it is

Its located in the c.e.m.which is in the passenger footwell you just remove a panel,Its just 2 push in clips and then half turn the two clips on the c.e.m lets it pivot down to expose the fuse board.It,s a 15amp fuse on lefthand side you should locate it by handbook or circuit tester.

On a lot of Fords there a compatibility issue between the Ford cigarette lighter sockets and Sat-Nav / phone power adapters . You can buy an adaptor which overcomes this known problem .
