Ford Focus central locking slow to work

Car: Ford Focus
Variant: 1.6 petrol ghia
Model Year: 2000
Categories: Electrics, ECU, Warnings & Lights
When the weather is wet or cold the central locking will only open about a mile while driving or sometimes a minute or so after opening the door.It works most of the time in the warmer weather, 1'm wondering if it's earth connections and if so where are they. Thank's for your help.

Doubt very much it's earths . More likely to be door lock actuator/s or lock linkage .If you sprayed those parts with WD 40 might help .Could also check condtion of car battery , if low wont help .
