Checked and asked about this and no one seems to have came across it so far on that model , engine. Also checked 2011 owners h/book and cant see it there in the warning lights. Is the light on constantly ?Is it definitely a warning light rather than a message ? All I can think of is the droplet signifying water/ rain and possibly if the car has rain sensitive wipers it may indicate they are switched off. Could be completely wrong . Whether scrolling through the message centre would show something in the settings cant say for sure .Surely if she ran into any Ford dealership , someone would advise / explain what the warning was for ? Sorry cant help more , if I find anything I'll post it

thanks very much Whittingehame for trying to solve my problem, she took the car today to her main dealer,(not a clue )its not in her hand book, but she said it comes on from cold then goes of on running temp,so thought of washer bottle ,cant be that and other things that have nothing to do with temperature, fords themselves said they don't know ???,could it be an antifreeze sensor ,never heard of one ,ps I always look at your solutions and have printed some off for future reference 'thanks tony

Hi Tony ,
That's terrible service from the Ford dealers .I've ran a few different dealerships over the years and if this had happened in any of them I would have done my nut . If no one there knew , they should have been on to the Ford factory direct for an answer , easy done .Apart from wanting to find out what triggered it myself , the customer should never been allowed to leave without it been resolved . Or if unable to wait , they should have been contacted later the same day with the solution .No way to run a garage / dealership .
