Ford Fiesta driver's seat height adjustment not being maintained whilst driving.

Car: Ford Fiesta
Variant: 1.2 Zetec
Model Year: 2009
The driver's seat of my Fiesta does not maintain its height setting at the highest point, i.e. it gradually lowers whilst driving. Ford are investigating but are kind-of denying there's a problem although I know (via the dealership I am dealing with) that this problem has been known to Ford by other drivers since the beginning of this year.
Please advise if you also have this problem.

I am the driver with the original problem.
However, the Ford Motor Company, after much haggling with them, due to their reluctance to acknowledge there IS a problem with the seat height adjustment in my car, have finally "admitted" that some of their new Fiestas do, indeed, have faulty mechanism with regard to this. So, if anyone else is being fobbed-off by Ford regarding this, please DO persevere because they are currently working on a "fix" - their word, not mine!
Good luck.

Following on from the earlier posting about Ford knowing there is a problem with the seat height mechanism and working on a fix, I have owned my used 2009 Sytle + 1.2 Fiesta for 3 months and I have noticed that gradually over a week the driver's seat lowers. My car has been looked at by a Ford seat expert and they cannot find a problem and have suggested that I am knocking it. This I know is not true. Ford have said that it is impossible for the seat to gradually lower as a faulty mechanism would lower the seat immediately and not gradually. I have spoken to Ford Customer Care and the Ford Technical department, both of which say that they are not aware of any problems. How can I find out if Ford have actually acknowledged a problem exists? The dealership won't repair it unless they can find a problem.

Hello to all reading this:
I live in Australia and earlier this year I purchased a new fiesta WT diesel. A few teething problems which include the drivers seat not maintaining its height. Concerning mine; I need to adjust it every day.
Soon after purchasing from the dealership, I returned my car for repairs and I was told they needed to replace parts to my drivers seat. Within a few days it was back to normal and I needed to keep adjusting the seat daily and sometime several times every day.
I took the car back and this time I was told they will replace the entire base of my seat.
They needed the car for several days and gave me a brand new loan car which happened to be a fiesta.
Well, this brand new loan car had exactly the same problem with the drivers seat.
I reported this to the dealership.
After some days I picked up my car and shortly after the seat began to drop yet again!
I have now been told in Australia Ford are saying that there are only 3 other vehicles like my fiesta that have been reported with the same problem.
I now believe FORD are in denial and don't want to except liability for this problem.
My drivers seat has been 'fixed' 2 times and when you add the initial problem, this adds to three. And then there is the loan car they gave me. So within one dealership and only counting myself there are 4 counts of this problem.
What I should do is go and buy a lotto ticket.
I have now been told Ford is working on a 'solution'
If you ask me, we are not the only ones out there with this problem.
Too many lies to cover up a massive recall on seats.
Lucky for me my family barrister is good, I am losing the enjoyment of my car daily from the very first day.
If Ford will not fix this problem, the only way is to expose them to which the outcome will not be regarding publicity and their sales percentage declining.
Hope to hear from anyone else out there that is experiencing the same problem.
