Ford Fiesta brake lamps not working

Car: Ford Fiesta
Variant: 1.4 tdci
Model Year: 2005

The Brake Lamps on my Fiesta have stopped working,the central tailgate light is fine it's just the ones at the side that won't work.
I have bridged the connectors to the pedal switch and nothing happens.Changed bulbs and checked fuses and still nothing.
I am at my wits end! someone please help!!!

Can't be brake light switch if centre light working ? Check you are getting power to bulb holder .Are you fitting correct bulb i.e twin filament , stop/tail ?

do they work if you earth them?
