Ford Fiesta wont start

Car: Ford Fiesta
Variant: 1.3 flight
Model Year: 2002
Categories: Running Rough, Starting & Power Loss
Well-serviced, low mileage all of a sudden decides not to start. Fuel OK, battery seems fine. On turning ignition key only getting rapid tick-tick-tick from under the bonnet.
Checked fuel cutoff by passenger door, seems ok, fuses fine. Tried both keys and entrance via both doors so prob not immobiliser. Not enough battery to turn starter perhaps?

replace the starter motor and battery for what they cost and then you have got both and you havnt got to go back to the motor factors for a second time and this will have you up and motoring again

your starter/solinoid the solinoid part could be faulty draining your battery that will be the click/click sound you may get away with cleaning the terminals on them it would be easier to clean them if you take the starter off and clean them one by one that includes the thick terminal left on the car

cheers willie
