Ford Fiesta heated front windscreen only clears half the windscreen

my heated fron windscreen only clears the drivers side and not the passenger side any ideas what the problem could be

Someone with the same fault on Focus ,
Question
We have a Y reg Focus and one half of the front 'quick clear' windscreen is not working, the driver's side. I don't believe there are 2 separate fuses for the 2 halves so any ideas ? Many thanks.

Hi, no it does not have seperate fuses, check the wiring into the screen, and yes we sometimes have to replace screens
