Hi all, My wife's M reg 1.3 Ford Fiesta had been siting in our drive for 2 months without being driven. I then decided to get it going again. After using jump cables from my car to get it going, I let it idol for about 30 mins then I took it up the road to get oil. It was fine to drive and seemed to be running well. I then got back and left it running for about 1 hour to charge the battery.
I came out to check on it when I noticed it wasn't running. I then used jump cables again and turned it on, after about a minute it cut out. So i tried it again without the air filter and it cut out again. I then tried reeving it to see if it would cut out, it stayed on a little longer trying to stay alive but then it cut out. I then went to the petrol station to get a Jerry can of super unleaded but this didn't seem to work. Can any one help me get this car working. I think its only a small problem as it was working fine earlier on. I think it mite be sediment at the bottom of the fuel tank but im no expert. Thank you for your time.
