Ford Fiesta vibration and loss of power

Car: Ford Fiesta
Variant: 1.25 automatic
Model Year: 1998
Categories: Running Rough, Starting & Power Loss
Car vibrates violently when braking, even when stationary at traffic lights, also judders when idling (this latter feels like too many revs). Upon acceleration (eg entering a motorway) it loses power and reduces speed even when my foot is on the floor. To regain power I have to remove foot from accelerator and then stamp down 2 or 3 times. Disturbing for anybody behind me. Any ideas on either of these problems?

you must check your transmission, posibbly your clutch lining or pressure plate and the bearing.
