Ford Fiesta when changing gear the car loses power and all the dash lights come on

My car keeps intermittently losing power when I change gear, all the lights on the dashboard come on. Sometime it wont start but its definitely not battery related as the lights etc dont go off.

You cant judge a battery on the fact the lights don't go off , What it takes to start a car requires a LOT more than it takes to operate lights .You need to LOAD test your battery .Check , replace spark plugs if needed , check / clean MAF , check for any vac leaks or PCV / hose leaks .
