Ford Fiesta starting problems

Car: Ford Fiesta
Variant: Fiesta titanuim
Model Year: 2011
Noticed a funny sort of screeching noise a few weeks ago when starting car,car wouldn't start this morning despite everything else working(lights, radio etc) although we have had a problem with the radio for a while, it just seems to stop working after a while when you are out driving

I would suggest you get your battery and alternator LOAD tested . Most diy stores like Halfords wll check usually FOC . Meanwhile , try jump starting the car or charging the battery .

Check fan belt and alternator is not seizing up as per squealing

I,d check the tension on the Alternator drive belt as it,ll make that noise if slack and not tensioned properly , causing the battery not to be charged even though the ignition warning light may not come on.
