My fiesta 09 what happes is the car resets like ive removed the battery but i havent the battery is less than a year old so thats not the problem i will stop a when i go to start the car its dead like theres no battery but if i slam my door it will start up the clock has been reset so have to set the clock also the mileage will go back to zero

There's a known fault with the connections at the rear of the dash/speedo pod on these,
As you've found out by slamming the door,
So dash pod has to come out and the connections checked.
