Ford Fiesta abs & handbreak light on after changing the battery

Car: Ford Fiesta
Variant: 1.4 TCDi
Model Year: 2006
Categories: Steering, Suspension, Brakes, Wheels & Tyres
I changed the battery as my car was flat after returning from my holiday. As advised by car shop
when i drove the car it wont drive forward very well, almost like the breaks are on and the two dashboard lights stay on - the hand break light and ABS light!
I guess I should see a mechanic!?

Hi if you have been away and your car has not been used it could be that the bracks are sticking . An the warning lights are to let you know. If you leave the handbrake on for a week or so it can happen.it mite be the bracks need freeing off. Good luck.
