Ford Fiesta noise from front on slw movement

Variant: 1.4 lx tdci
Model Year: 2002

Recently purchased a car which has started to make a grinding noise from front, it only happens at times I.e when moving off very slowly or even letting it roll down very slowly, its not the brake pads or clutch apart from that it drives good, the sound is abit heavy and onoy happens when the wheel comes to a certain point,
any ideas.

Check wheel bearings , susp arms / bushes and drop link arms .

Thanks for getting back,

The drop links need changing but the noise is different, took it to a local garage they said its the clutch but it only happens when moving off at bitting point with the car standstill the clutch is fine, it happens approx 5/10 move offs, if its the clutch which kit shall I get? (2 piece or 3 piece)

Get the clutch kit , pressure plate ,centre plate and bearing/ concentric slave cyl .You can also get a loud noise from the spigot shaft bearing / bush .Get it checked when clutch out .
