Ford Fiesta wont start

Car: Ford Fiesta
Variant: 1.4 SI
Model Year: 1993
Categories: Running Rough, Starting & Power Loss
Hi

I have a Ford Fiesta 1.4SI M REG.

I have problems starting, once i have got it started works fine for the whole day or a few days. Then will go back to not starting again.

I resently changed the spark plugs and now it wont tick over at all, i have the power like it wants to ignite and start up, seems to be no spark! What do i do?

Spray the distributor cap with WD40 or an equivalent water dispersing spray, if the car then starts check the contacts on the distributor cap for signs of dampness, check the spark plug tip condition, it's best to change the plugs, lead and cap about once a year with an old car - cheap enough for a fiesta.
