Water pump is belt driven by engine and Must stop if engine not running

You sure it's not your engine radiator fan ?

Thank you for your response, actually it's the auxiliary water pump (DS7E8C419BA) and it's not belt driven, it has an electrical socket with two wires. I went to a repair shop and they told me that it's not stopping after switching off the car.

If it's the auxiliary water pump , could be a faulty FCM ( fan control module ) . On a lot of cars with that type of pump they can usually continue running for up to 10-minutes after you turn the ignition off. A siagnostic scan , covering all modules should show a code if faulty . Could check wiring / socket .
