If the engine will not turn over then possibly starting system fault i.e. battery or starter motor ,or charge issue.

AS previously said check battery connections first , does the engine turn over ok? does it sound any different when trying to start IE does it turn over faster did the engine cut out or did you switch it off if it cut out timing belt could have jumped or snapped this is the best i can advise without more information i assume it did not overheat .
